About me

I’m a multidisciplinary Art Director based in Amsterdam, with over 15 years of experience leading and delivering large-scale themed entertainment, commercial, and hospitality projects worldwide.

I began my career as a draughtsman for conservation architects in Dublin, developing a strong technical foundation and attention to architectural detail. After studying Applied Arts & Interior Architecture, I worked internationally across Amsterdam, Dublin, London, and Sydney (Film) before moving into senior creative leadership roles.

I specialize in bridging creative vision with technical execution leading projects from concept through schematic and detailed design, while ensuring brand integrity, buildability, and alignment with programme and budget. My experience spans interior design, theming, film sets, graphics, signage, and storytelling, and I work closely with clients, licensors, consultants, and fabrication teams to deliver cohesive, high-quality environments.

In 2018, I relocated to Amsterdam to work as Design Manager / Art Director for National Geographic Family Entertainment Centers globally. Helping to lead Concept, Schematic, Detail Design, and Signage packages, providing creative direction to multidisciplinary teams and working on site in China, Mexico, Canada, and Kuwait to ensure design intent was realized to the highest standard.

In the most recent years I’ve worked as a freelance Art Director with agencies including PEL Creative (UK) & Storyland Studios (US). Recent projects include DreamPlay, Sesame Street Learn & Play (New Jersey), Hasbro Playocity and CoComelon Play Date (Riyadh), and the Ultimate Explorer Family Entertainment Center (Kuwait).

I’m collaborative, detail-driven, and experienced in leading teams through complex, global projects from vision to delivery. Love being on site and rolling up my sleeves!
